I absolutely recommend Jessie’s river house to anyone looking for an accommodation near Yosemite national park! Short drive into the valley. Lovely river in the back yard was fantastic. The home itself is spacious and well equipped. Will certainly be staying here again.

Loved staying here! Jessie had great communication the entire time. Made our Yosemite weekend so much better. Clean, cozy, private. About 45 min drive to gate, 1 hour to the valley. Leave early! Grab dinner in Mariposa, cool little town. Thanks Jessie!

Our recent 3-day family trip to Yosemite was made truly exceptional by our stay at this incredible Airbnb in El Portal, California. Traveling with 12 guests, we were all comfortably accommodated in the spacious house, which provided ample room for everyone to relax and unwind after our adventures. One of the absolute highlights was the breathtaking stargazing from the jacuzzi. With the sky completely free of light pollution, the night sky was a dazzling spectacle – a truly unforgettable experience for the whole family. For those early risers in your group, the house's location right next to the Hites Cove Trail is a huge bonus. It was fantastic to be able to step out for a beautiful hike before the rest of the family even woke up. The house's Starlink internet was an absolute lifesaver. Having reliable, high-speed internet in such a remote location was truly amazing and allowed us to stay connected. We wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb to anyone planning a trip to Yosemite.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our Yosemite adventure! This property in El Portal was the ideal location—just 20 minutes from the park entrance, which made it super easy to beat the crowds and maximize our time inside the park. The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. After long days of hiking and exploring, it was so nice to come back to a quiet, comfortable space where we could relax and recharge. The views from the property were beautiful, and we especially enjoyed mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee, surrounded by nature. We even had a couple of river swimmers on the last day. The host was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and gave us some great local tips for trails and food. It’s clear they care about their guests’ experience. If you’re planning a trip to Yosemite and want a peaceful, well-located place to stay just outside the park, this is it. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family without hesitation!

This was a perfect place to stay for a short weekend in Yosemite. It made for an easy drive to the park entrance as well as surrounding cities. The cabin was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed!

Had a great stay at the cabin. Everything was as described and neat and clean. The access to the associated lodge up the road was convenient for takeout food and my sons were able to swim in the pool. Last and certainly not least, the proximity to the park is unmatched! Would stay again!

This large home was perfect for our two families to vacation together. It was a short drive to Yosemite. The river behind the house was a special treat. Everything was as described. Jesse was a great host.

Wonderful place in a beautiful setting, with the Merced River flowing right past the back patio. It makes a great home base to explore Yosemite (just a short drive away), which we did on three of the four days we stayed there, and a relaxing spot to rest up and spend time together as family when you're done exploring the park. We loved it!

I can’t believe how incredibly lucky we were to secure this incredible cabin while we explored Yosemite National Park ! It was definitely a slice of heaven in all ways !!! It was hard to tear ourselves away when it was time to go. The location was amazing as it was only 15 minutes outside the entrance to the park and we had our own private Merced River view to hang out with whenever we wanted to in our little backyard. You could even see and hear the river while hanging out in your own private, indoor hot tub as well. Consider yourself extremely lucky if you have an opportunity to stay here while visiting the park!
